It says 30mm of rain while we are there

We can’t take our dog it’s the first time we have left her without a dog sitter our neighbours will feed her and check on her/let her inside at night and out in the morning but what if she thinks she’s being abandoned

She hasn’t been without anybody since the days after my mum died

I didn’t know she was alone when mum died she was on her own for 3 days when my brother dropped her back off at mums place while she was im hospital and I went over there and the poor dog was all on her own and did not know where mum was

She will be fine. Dogs are very resilient. My little boy stresses when I am not around too but he copes. I am very lucky he loves my sister so anytime I have had to be away she comes and stays at my house with him.

Now for the trip. Do you have a tarp you could take to place over the tent to help with rain if it comes? I can definitely see you are stressing about the trip but hoping the rain stays away for you. If it doesn't then I am sure you will make the most of it for your kids - you are such a wonderful Dad so whatever happens - you will deal with it. Try not to stress in the next few days. Sometimes we just have to accept what is right at our feet and let the rest go. What will be will be and you have no control over some things (like the weather). I have evreything crossed for you that it will be okay.

We have never gone camping all 5 of us before I’m starting to wonder if w should have booked a caravan park instead because they have pools and games rooms and more amenities @Zoe7 and would have been better if it rains
Our set up is pretty light on I just hope the kids have fun we have a tarp but that will go under the tent
I’m really worried about all the rain @Zoe7
