Hi @Ceres
This forum is well moderated and people are extremely supportive.
I find it better to stay with a few people whom I get to know a little and to keep away if anything is too hard for me - so in the sense self-help also means helping ourselves - which is the idea I think
There are no cliques here - sometimes I find people are busy having a conversation and I don't feel like jumping in - that's fine - but everything is out in the open here - nothing can happen behind anyone's back and this is - in my mind - super
I am glad you are here - I have found that people have stories that tend to interlock - it's really interesting to realise that there is support for people with emotional discomfort
Also - we can access clip art - I love this - here's today's pic - Dec

Its lovely to find a place to vent without cliques! or all the pettiness of social media. Thanks for the welcome from everyone I've found this a very useful and friendly forum and most of all a safe place to feel supported in my opinions already . Hopefully I can be of some use to others also once I get used to how to use it properly 🙂

Hi @utopia@Shaz51@Ceres@outlander@redheaded
I am starting this thread again - I didn't lose interest but I can see that I slowed down with this because I found walking around a hard chore with my wonky knee and could not be bothered going outside to see but things are getting interesting again
Early in the morning MARS and JUPITER are extremely close together right now - and they will start moving apart gradually - and this is easily visible early in the morning
Later than those two SATURN and MERCURY are close together too but nearer the sun and harder to find - I don't have a good "horizon" here but these to will be visible for a while
VENUS is too close to the sun until the end of February - and that will appear in the west
And @utopia - I know the cluster of stars called the Pleiades of the Seven Sisters - I will see if I can find a pic for you - they are easily visible in the early morning sky too

Hi @outlander
Yes - I have been a bit up and down and up and down lately - but okay most of the time -
I realise that my knee was wonky for a long time and who wants to get up and put their dressing-gown on and go outside early in the morning when they have a wonky knee - not matter how interesting it might be
Anyway - as there planets are apparently close together right now and with four of them it will be interesting for a while - I will be looking because I can walk better - and the walk I had at the beach was pleasant but heavier walking in the sand - but I did it
You are battling too - many people are - I certainly understand the Reason for the Season at Christmas but still - I get bothered when people walk around in an unpredictable manner - but one good thing is that the path leading to my front door is really neat and clean now - so I must be improving
And I came home to find the porch light that has not worked for years had been repaired - I can have that light on now which is really great
Take life as it comes Outlander - bitznpiecez - life can have it's tough times but then - you will find the better times when you get your balance - so much in your life has changed it will take time to get yourself back to - aw no - you will find your new normal and I am sure it will be better
You are a battler - and you see the truth - you do -
