Re: Daily positives

Oh my gosh @Oaktree. They were almost the exact words I used when someone asked me how I felt about cutting my hair off.

”I felt liberated!”

Since I was child no one saw me, it was always my bloody hair.

Like the ability to have long blonde hair is an achievement grrr.

It’s just economics. Cost less not to cut it and go to the beach.

Re: Daily positives

@GlistenG i did the same but it was more of a britany spears breakdown.  now it is past my butt i cant cut it and am letting it go gray.  cutting your hair  or growing it long is liberating for middle aged women imho xxx

Re: Daily positives

@greenpea Past your butt! That is AMAZING 🤩

The longest my hair ever grew was to my waist.

Re: Daily positives

@Glisten🙂 yes G it is very witchy.  i like it and so does my daughter who also has super long hair. my mother has given up suggesting i cut it 🤣

Re: Daily positives

@outlander said “many people seem to change their appearance after a significant change.”

@outlander That’s the reason why I think we evolve from significant change, as opposed to recover from significant change.

Significant change is not always negative.

It is our ability to find information, learn new skills to help us adapt and survive a constantly changing environment.

Significant changes/events happen to us.  But these changes/events are not the totality of who we are.

Re: Daily positives

@greenpea what are you dressing as for Halloween 👻 🧙🏼LOL?

Did you have dark hair?

I’m asking because people dark brown or black hair, get that beautiful white-grey hair. Where as people like me, with mousy-light coloured or red hair, get that shite salt 🧂 and pepper grey.

My closest and longest friend of 38 years is Maltese. Beautiful thick white-dark grey hair.

She looses so much hair in the shower 🚿 that it looks like a giant rodent died in the drain 🥴 LOL

Re: Daily positives

@Glisten  hehehe! G i am half croatian and have dark burgandy hair which is getting streaks of white in it.  it looks like frosting.  when i was pregnant my hair developed long blonde streaks so much so that it looked like i had them done professionally.  my eldest son has thin hair but alot of it, daughter thick wavy hair with curls whilst my middle son has thin hair and is balding at the crown.  lol my eldest needs a cut every 2 weeks or so it grows like crazy!

I love red hair.  long, thick red curls are stunning imho. on men looks really sexy.
