@Former-Member I have slight-crafty bones within me! I used to crochet a bit, and know the basics but have many an unfinished blanket hanging around. I'm just staring at these amazing crochet boots though!!

Aren't they amazing @Former-Member, I'm wondering if @CheerBear will choose those. It will be interesting to see what she says when she gets back here.
Feel welcome to share your projects here Scout, and maybe we can all motivate each other to treat ourselves to more crafty moments!

You are fab @Former-Member thanks! I am so looking forward to sitting and going through your finds properly 😊 I'm after an indoor pair of snuggle socky thingamajigs I think (whatever they may be!). Will have a proper look through the links cheers!
I'm having trouble with basket girl. Have you made her before? (I'm also way too 😝 to try to work her out right now so socks/slippers it is).
Here's some tweed goodness 😍
They are seriously cool and snuggly looking @Former-Member ☺ Love the yarn too!
(Ps SunShower "Heavens to Murgatroyd" - that's a new one for me! Love it 😁)

Hey there @CheerBear so good to see you here.
No, sorry, i have not made basket girl, but, I have the pattern to hand if you want to ask a question some time, and maybe with an image of what the issue is, I might be able to assist, or offer a work around, or find corrections - I'll look for any corrections for you in the mean time anyway.
"Heavens to Murgatroyd" and also "Heavens to Betsy" come from the show Snagglepuss, the affectation of ending a sentence with 'even', as in "Somebody hurt! In dire pain, even!" (wikipaedia) is from the same show.
Waiting for the image to clear ....
My favourite is this pattern, are these slippers - grammar ... so much so that I may, may I say, make some for myself.

Yeah I think I will @Former-Member and take some shots of my brilliant (unfinished) art
BTW @CheerBear , I found this - not sure about the dimensions but it's better than nothing!
Heavens to Murgatroyd!!

OOh, nice tweed @CheerBear definitely boot/ slipper worthy there. Looks like wool or a wool blend too. Nice. Can't wait to see/hear what you thnk about the linky patterns and if you want me to look for more.
@Former-Member What a delightful bear, beautifully executed! Lovely colours. Do show us more when you can, if you want to, of course.
Back to relaxing to settle this stupid head pain. Can't even do my crochet 'cos the brain won't count properly and there's a pattern to keep to for this one ...sigh...

Gosh I'm sorry @Former-Member it didn't click until I'd left the forum that it was Snagglepuss not a bear! Too much brain pain - it'll pass. It's the fallout from yesterday's stress - takes me about 3 days to get over the pain caused by the muscle spasms of that level of anxiety, even with meds. I day down. I'm using it as an excuse to treat myself to some different treaty food within my proper limits but still stuff I don't normally have. I'm thinking about you Caramel Magnum ...
Since you've said the pattern you wanted was for snuggle boots, @CheerBear I just wanted to show you this cutest of Norwegian patterns for handholding gloves. Of course why wouldn't they have patterns for them. Love it!
Shared glove from a 'set' I guess as it's not a 'pair' technically.
and here's the set. Such cuteness.
Ummmm @CheerBear I found a real mermaiding psychologist ....
and mermaid dolls that you could call 'psychologist' ... amigurumi-mermaid-doll-patterns/
