Thanks guys 😃 I'm not proud of anything yet. It just is. The dwindling bank account can attest to my need to quit more than anything. If I had the money, Lord knows I'd pick it up again in a heartbeat.
However though in staying with the theme, working on a creative project is a great way to respond to 'pangs'. I'll service my sewing machine before I use it. Otherwise I'll have dust, lint and broken thread all over the place. I just have to find the oil.

Thanks @outlander!
I love making clothes. Special stuff no-one else has. I made a knee length dress to wear out to a restaurant when I thought my beau was going to propose. It was dusted pink under antique coloured lace, 3/4 sleeves and V neck edged with antique ribbon and a scalloped hem. I wore it once and only gave it to the Salvo's a few weeks ago.
I don't think I want to make clothes this time. I think I'll do a special doona cover in satin and aplique.

That dress sounds amazing @Hope4me . Go you with the quit smoking, and I hope your finances start recovering soon. Perhaps you can sell your special pieces rather than giving them to the Salvo’s, at least for now ?
I used to pick things up from the Salvo’s and embellish them myself because making things from scratch became out of the question. Now I buy uniquely-type already embellished stuff, and still embellish when I get the chance too .....
Love, LOVE, Love the blanket @CheerBear ❣️
