Re: Craft Corner

Hello @Trish3

How are you my friend xx

Re: Craft Corner

Not too bad @Shaz51 I tested positive for covid yesterday so feeling a little worse for wear atm. I've clocked up my four covid jabs so hoping I'll come good soon. Meanwhile isolation in my little box room is interesting 🤔

Hope you are fit & well 🤗

Re: Craft Corner

@Shaz51 and @Judi9877 I taught myself how to crochet! No photos yet, but I'm so proud!

I've been knitting for a while and I just couldn't make heads or tails of crocheting. I couldn't figure it out no matter how many videos I watched or instructions I read.

But finally, on the last weekend, it just CLICKED! I was so frustrated at myself for not understanding it even though I was trying so hard. And now all I want to do is crochet

It was this video that really did helped.

Anyway, how are you both? ❤️

In this easy to follow video tutorial, we will show you how to work the most beginner stitch in crochet: single crochet. This stitch has a dense fabric, and is perfect for structured pieces. It can be used to make hats, scarves and even sweaters. Ever wanted to learn how to knit? Want to jump on ...

Re: Craft Corner

Hi all,

I love that there is a space like this, I am sort of a jack of all trades when it comes to craft, I sew, knit, crochet, loom knit, embroider, long stitch, short stitch, cross stitch, write novels and poetry, resin crafts, colour in, pattern draw, polymer clay jewellery, void painting (might not be actual name), origami, watercolour painting, diamond dot painting, lego painting and beading. I'm also currently looking at starting wire art or mosaics or both.

But I love to see what others do and I might in the future post pictures of my works

Re: Craft Corner

@Twilightsomniac Wow you are one very busy person! Never a dull moment?  I guess craft has been my therapy over many years ; a chance to deflect my attention from bothersome things albeit for short periods. Now I sew, crochet, knit and do other things because of the pleasure it gives me to create and achieve.  It’s a wonderful way of life really 😊
