Re: Cook Along
I also find that lasagne tastes nice once it's been in its sauce for a while @Oaktree . Do you think so?

Re: Cook Along
Hi @Oaktree @tyme @Former-Member @Owlunar2 @Glisten @ENKELI @Blackbird11
Here is my Sweet and Sour Recipe
Chicken marinated
500g of chicken thighs cut into bite-size pieces.
3 garlic cloves crushed
1 tbsp of grated ginger
2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp of sesame oil
Coating
150 to 170 g of cornflour
salt and pepper
Sauce
2/3 of a cup of vinegar
2 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tbsp of tomato sauce
4 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
8 tbsp of white sugar
1/2 tsp of salt if you want
2 tsp of grated ginger
Veg
Carrot, onion, capsicum, pineapple
Method
- Once the chicken is cut and coated, the ingredients are mixed. Then add cornflour.
- Mix sauce ingredients together and set aside
- Chop veg
- Cook chicken in batches in the air fryer at 180 for 6 to 10 minutes. Spray with olive oil spray. Transfer to a wire wrack with some paper towel.
- Heat oil in a casserole dish, fry pan, etc.
- Cook the onion until translucent. Add the carrot and cook for a few minutes. Then add the capsicum and, lastly, add the pinnable.
- Add sauce and cook until thickened. If not thickened enough, add a cornflour slurry with water. Then add chicken and toss through.
- Serve with rice of choice.
Here is a photo of mine. I had it with white rice.

Re: Cook Along
I used to make pancakes and shortbread with double the amount of vanilla because the ex loved it.
It wasn’t until I read it in someone else’s post, that the word vanilla came back into memory. Weird 🤷🏼♀️
