Reflecting on the year that we have all had is a good idea if we concentrate on the positives first - that is something I am really learning to do @BlueBay @MDT. I think we get so bogged down in the things that have gone wrong and then we dwell on them too much - then the positives in our life seem to take a back seat. Reflections on the year can and should include both but often our brains are hard wired to concentrate on the negatives - one of the benefits of focussing more on the positives is we can retrain our brain to look for them first but that does take practice.

Hugs @MDT ❤️
@Zoe7 It’s very difficult to concentrate on positives because you’re right our brains are hard wired to see the negatives. Well I know mine does all the time. I can never see any positives and if someone tells me something positive about myself I quickly dispel what they’ve said.
I agree it does take a lot of practice xxx

I understand @Shaz51
I don’t want to go anywhere tomorrow either and probably won’t. 💜🌷🌸
Thanks @MDT
Thinking of you too.
I haven’t been able to read much on the forums today, or for a while. Feeling overwhelmed. Just back from overseas last night. Long story. Probably not for this thread. 👋☕️🌺
Not sure what this thread is all about, to be honest @TAB
Is it a celebration one, or one for people not coping with the big “C” occasion?
😬🙃🤔💃🕺🎩
