I had a yucky day yesterday and when I woke up at 4:30 this morning and felt just as yuck, I knew today was going to be tough. My thoughts were not good and I was spiralling quick.
My relationship with God ain’t been the best this year or so, I’ve felt really disconnected from him and distant. Even though I’ve questioned my faith a lot, I’m certain that I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for him.
Anyhow, in the middle of my spiralling early this morning, my daughter who sleeps in until 8am comes in for a snuggle at 5:30. Just the distraction I needed and reminder that even though I don’t feel it much, he is here.
It reminded me of this canvas I did a little while ago. Hope everyone has a good day

@Former-Member I think these principles found in Psalm 3, helped me and continue to do so.
One of my new sayings is "Not in my own strength, but with your help I can ......"
