Re: Christian Chat
Yes. I get it. So the point of fasting is to give time to prayer @Dimity
We have that too, but not certain days/times.
Do what you can I guess? The Lord knows.

Re: Christian Chat
Thanks for that @Shaz51
I guess the more isolated I am, the less words come to mind. I'll have to listen hard for that still small voice.

Re: Christian Chat
@Dimity , @tyme , @avant-garde
I say little prayers throughout the day , might just be a word but the lord knows
At times the small voice may seem quiet but he is always with you and holding you in his care ❤️
And we are with you too xxx

Re: Christian Chat
Thanks @tyme not too bad if you discount tiredness and woolly thinking. Glad to have got to the end of the week.
I saw on another thread you're not well - my commiserations. I recently had a course of shingles vaccinations, it's free for seniors. Hopefully it's getting less common now that people are vaccinated against chicken pox. In my day all the childhood infectious diseases were sort of rites of passage.
Are you feeling any better yet?

Re: Christian Chat
Thanks for your post @Dimity .
I'm feeling less foggy. On Wed, I was feeling quite yuck. My head was all foggy.
Now, it's just the blisters... they are a bit weepy and yuck. The rash only started yesterday, so I've still got a few days before I'm well enough to hang around people (which is okay for me).
Hope you are feeling better. You've had such a BIG last few weeks.

Re: Christian Chat
Take care @tyme . Hope the blisters dry and subside quickly. And the dog is OK.

Re: Christian Chat
Me too @Dimity . Ruby is okay. Every time I take her for a walk, I wonder in my head "When are you going to grow up?"
I miss @NatureLover . I should find them in the other chat...

Re: Christian Chat
Enjoy her puppyhood while you can @tyme .
People used to say you got shingles when you were run down. Hope you're not doing too much. Eat well, rest well.
