Feeding wild birds, nice...

I brought home 2 lovely orange canaries that needed a home last weekend (I bought them).

Budgies are about 13 (last count), from unexpected happy breeding...

I caught 4 of them on Anzac Day, & brought them inside to go in Rainbow Peachface's empty cage (very sad).

They seem happy there.

Wow, @Adge, u caught budgies? It would take x4 of them to come close to filling Rainbow's shoes 😞 They must be company 4 you a little. Birds give me hope we will one day rise above all this earthbound heaviness.
So good to be talkin about birds again.
I have a folder in my phone for a great load of bird pix, many i save thi king to share with you 🙂

@Former-Member - thanks for tagging me. I also forgot about this thread.
Haven't seen any new species if birds in my yard. But it's lovely to simply sit outside, close my eyes, & listen to them singing.
Is very relaxing.

No I haven't resigned, because (even after year's of efforts), I have no other job to go to yet.

No uninterrupted sleep the past few nights.

Because Jelly cat has been destructive & howling (attention-getting behaviour) all night...

Utterly exhausted, & cannot de-stress myself from work or cat (except in small amounts).

Birds are so much nicer than work or cat behaviour (at the moment)...

He/She's a beauty Maggie, i like to think the birds are messangers - what msg do you think this little guy is saying to you? Certainly colourful 🙂
