Re: Best Friends Club
@creative_writer oh, that's disappointing 😕 glad to know that Workforce Australia is at least sorting out some stuff for you though!
I hope you're being kind to yourself today, my friend xx

Re: Best Friends Club
My head is feeling rather heavy and I may be a bit cranky. It is just my normal. Too much free time at home gets to you eventually

Re: Best Friends Club
@creative_writer ugh!! that does get VERY frustrating when the role that you wanna apply for requires us to do another thing that we haven't yet obtained or done yet 😕 it's really annoying and i wish companies can make things easier for us without requiring us to do something further that can last quite a long period before we even get into the job! I hope the driving learning goes well for you regardless xx
Oh yeah, I definitely get that feeling too - too much free time at home does make me likely to crash out/get mad easily on the regular, though since I'm currently on my 3rd of doing a course that I love that I also hope is gonna land me to a role somewhere related to it (I'm thinking of looking/heading towards art therapy, but also mental health peer work online in the meantime if ever possible too ❤️ ), I don't feel as depressed and upset about life anymore ❤️

Re: Best Friends Club
I’ve been super cranky tonight, I’ve had to go away from the forums for a bit. I haven’t had anything to eat and have a full blown migraine. I know delaying meals makes migraines worse, but that did not stop me from delaying it

Re: Best Friends Club
Yeah I struggled with art history.
I ended up in the olden days - in the middle of Perth, I found a printing shop that could colour photocopy ! If I saved $10 they would do a couple of colour photocopies of an artist then ide write a page on that artist and did it extra work. It was in an A3 folio.
Still didn't get an A though.
Wherever I saw the first drawing of tours
I LOVED it. I really liked the different thickness of lines in the drawing of a group of bits and bobs.

Re: Best Friends Club
@creative_writer it sucks even more considering on how difficult and competitive the job market is these days 😞 There’s this one role that I’ve been wanting to do that I’ve been submitting my resume and cover letter to multiple different companies that have the role available through the seek/ethical jobs etc. websites but yet I’ve never received anything from them 🥲 but that’s okay though because now I don’t wanna work in that role anymore. Hence, most of the locations that were listed in most of those applications I’ve applied were far away from where I live and I don’t even have a car to be able to drive myself there 😅 I feel that it would be a big waste of time!
Have you ever considered handing in your resume to those places that you wanna apply for? I heard that doing it that way might increase the chance for them to be able to get attention that you’re one of the potential candidates that consider on applying a role at their place. I personally have not done it and I don’t wish to at this stage since there’s no roles out there in this world that I wanna apply for and don’t see myself doing in the long term.
Very valid to feel cranky. Have you been able to eat something during the day at least? Even when you don’t feel like eating during these times? 🫂

Re: Best Friends Club
I haven’t ever physically handed my resume. I’ve only ever submitted my resume online or through email.
Migraines make me cranky. The nausea doesn’t help with appetite. However, I do find if I don’t eat I do feel worse. I’ve had some breakfast today, I felt a bit nauseous after my morning coffee, but it’s settled. I am probably exhausted from yesterday

Re: Best Friends Club
@Blackcloud there's nothing wrong with you selling your black and white still lifes
The one you showed here is wonderful. Can you post the first photograph of what you drew and the picture again ?
There. Is gumtree - but I think people may just steal the picture of the picture you have drawn
.
Ebay - theft of pictures ?
Definately Etsy -
Yet - I have a quilt for sale and it hasn't sold for a year. It's not the usual quilt though.
