Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 I love gel pens. I used to have so many as a kid and I liked having them in a particular order (probably my ND brain). I would love to hear your poems. I have mine saved on the computer, but they are a bit disorganised.

Hi @Appleblossom nice to hear from you. I hope today has been kind to you 💖

Re: Best Friends Club

@creative_writer gel pens are awesome but i only like one type and at the moment they don't have them in stock so I'm getting anxious cos I only have 3 packets left. My poems are written in a book but I have no idea where it is or if i even still have it.

Re: Best Friends Club

Hello @Blackcloud , how are you?

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 @Thanks for asking.

Yesterday was better than I expected. I began very exhausted and had to push myself to do… my plan but it was worth it and I felt energised by it.

How are you?

Re: Best Friends Club

@Appleblossom glad the day turned out better than you expected, well done for pushing yourself through it 😊

I'm tired and trying to find the energy to face the day. Having to see someone that caused me alot of trauma doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Hoping the time goes quickly and without incident.

Re: Best Friends Club

Hope you get through it alright @Gremlin24

Thanks @Appleblossom ❤️

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 I’m feeling pretty good today than I expected.

The last few days have been pretty rough for me, one of them being that the lecturer I had in one of the Wednesday classes made me cry that day. I’m glad I’ve made the decision to drop out of that unit/subject after it happened, not only because of him but because there’s other parts to the assignment that we have to do that I’m not even gonna bother on wasting my time in figuring out how to do and stuff. -_-

Ever since that happened and after crying so much from it after I got home, I began to look up careers/jobs that are suitable for highly sensitive people. A few of those careers that stood out to me were: art therapist, artist (maybe maybe not), graphic designer, and a programmer.

I decide to start going on the visual/fine arts route because I know that with mental health, people find it easy to express their emotions and thoughts through art, right? So I thought hmmm why not do something like that as part of my career, especially when it’s something that I can see myself in doing and being passionate about. Also, I like to colour as well so that would be the main type of ‘art’ that I like. Other than that though, I do wanna gain some skills with drawing and other types of creative arts that are available.

I got in touch with open universities Australia yesterday and the day before that and I was able to secure my enrolment in the Undergraduate Certificate of Fine Arts. The classes are all online though. And I’ll be starting this course tomorrow. I know, it’s a sudden and a drastic change. But getting to know about the fact that I am a highly sensitive person and I would like to pursue a career that’s very suitable for that, I have to, and I feel that it’s better for my own good and wellbeing if I pursue something that matches on what I’m like as a person along with how it’s linked to a certain field and career.

Re: Best Friends Club

@Gremlin24 I also have some written poems, not sure if I have all of those either. The written poems are from when I was a child. I started typing out poems when I became a teen. It is frustrating when the item you love isn’t in stock. When I like something, I really like it. I get anxious if I can’t get the item anymore. It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one. I honestly thought my reaction was strange.

@Blackcloud I wish the best for your studies. Fine arts sounds exciting. I do agree many highly sensitive people are drawn to creative professions
