Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi
Hi y'all, sorry if I don't tag everyone, my memory is bad enough when I'm good, so now while I'm down a deep hole it's even worse.
Updates - stepmonster finally popped her clogs. We all thought this would be a good thing u til my darling father told me, his beloved daughter, that he had nothing to live for now that stepmonster was gone.
Then he realised that his stepdaughter had changed stepmonsters will before she kicked it and wrote him out of it, leaving him with nothing. So not only did I have to read how his life was over, he had no money.
He finally decided to write stepdaughter out of his will and I spent 2 weeks trying to get a lawyer to do it for him at little to no cost. Note - DVA are happy that you're a veteran, their not happy to help you out financially if you need to write a will.
with the help of a good friend, he has now been able to rewrite his willbut not before stabbing me in the heart once more.
To explain, I changed my surname to my maternal grandmothers' maiden name (let's say it's Green for this story and my surname was previously Blue, again for this story) 20 years ago and have gone by "Green" ever since. Father accepted this and would use my new surname, sometimes hyphenation it to Blue-Green and I let him.
So imagine my surprise when I received an email from him saying "given your penchant for surname hopping and going back and forth from Blue to Green I have written your name as Enkeli Blue in my will. Hope this is satisfactory."
It's like the old bastard is stabbing wherever he can and whenever he can.
I am still unemployed, further and deeper in debt, teeth getting worse and my days are spent either bed rotting or watching TV and diamond painting.
I'd say I've had enough but that's like saying "bring it on God, you haven't ripped me completely apart yet" so I figured I'd come by and waste everyones' time.
@PeppyPatti I've attached a photo of your namesake.
@Glisten your roo paw is doing well too. I'll send a snap another time my darling Tomaatii.
I think of y'all regularly and am praying that all is if not well, getting better.
Happy Labour Day long weekend my West Aussie team xoxo ♥️😘

Hi @ENKELI
So lovely to hear from you.
Sorry your Dad is such a rotten old codger. RSL recently had a thing where you could create a will for free.

@Former-Member do you also live in Melbourne. We do need more sunshine, the days are already short enough. Melbourne’s seasons feed my bipolar disorder. Seasonal changes can disrupt circadian rhythms

@creative_writer I'm in South Australia. The weather can have a massive impact on our bodies both physically and mentally.

@ENKELI 🎉👏🏼🫂 I miss you so much!
Retiisi the boys, Mac & Lenny miss your muffin drops.
There is no greater hurt than family. It’s the kind of hurt that eviscerates.
My life has also been placed in front of an industrial fan while a fertiliser truck dumped a ton of poop :pile_of_poo:
I’m going to go eat chocolate.

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi
@TAB ADHD means I have to take my time when drafting a professional email because I want to be sure it is free of errors. I don’t really pay as much attention to errors when messaging or posting online because hyper-focusing on details is exhausting. I think one of the reasons why I haven’t gotten a job yet is because I haven’t found many suitable work options. I am applying widely for now but I am limited in the type of work I can do. Sensory sensitivities may make it hard to work in certain environments
