@Blackcloud I'm sorry to hear what you are going through, know I'm here for you if you want to chat or need a distraction ❤️.
I get the frustration being passed from service to service with noone being able or willing to help.
Be gentle with yourself and know that we are here for you.

@Gremlin24 thank you, I appreciate it 🫂❤️
Yeah, and even being ineligible for a program dedicated to it according to some of the answers you've answered (including the answers where you've mentioned that you're "not at risk" of it now) on their intake assessment sucks too. Though they do include family meditation as part of the program there which was the only kind of support I've been wanting to get at this point but NOWWWW i just need to pretty much refer myself to other family meditation related services (whenever I'm comfortable to) -_-
anyway, yesterday i got a reply from the Youth Law Australia and I've received some great advice from them according to their response on the email since I sent them an email mentioning about the situation over a week ago. Replied to them yesterday for more answers that they dont know more about of and yeaaaa now just waiting for a reply back from them. Good thing YLA actually have lawyers that you can seek free legal advice from without having to go to a private lawyer and having to pay hundreds of dollars per hour during the consultation.

@Gremlin24 oh, and just to mention the situation that my mum has been putting for me happened since last year so its been an ongoing thing that i cant stop thinking about and being angry/upset/stressed about honestly

@Blackcloud that's so frustrating and I can say I've gone through the exact same thing. Services that are supposed to be helpful in specific situations but yet aren't, I'm constantly met with 'this service isn't for you' and then the conversation is ended.
I really hope the YLA can help you, it sounds positive so far. Hopefully they can point you in the right direction.
My situation is still ongoing and noone seems to be able or willing to help. It's so exhausting trying to get support to get out of my situation only to be turned away, ignored and passed from service to service.
Stay strong and i really hope things change for you soon ❤️

@Glisten can I make her my spirit animal? My Chinese zodiac is a horse. And I always imagined myself to be her colour...

@Gremlin24 it really sucks to be facing such situations like this, right? 🥲
On the bright side though, I’m glad that I currently have supports from at least 2 or 3 different services (out of all the services I got in touch with so far) regarding my situation. One of them I’m currently still in contact with ongoingly, the other one I got in contact with yesterday (Orange Door) — she was able to take down notes from what I said about my situation as well as keeping record of my details and my mum details so that she knows that my mum and I are being “watched” and knows that if I’m gonna be at risk at sometime in the future when that happens then she (and the service) knows what my situation is.
The third service was the one that told me I wasn’t eligible for their program but they were able to refer me to some services including Orange Door as well as some family mediation related services, and they did say that if my circumstances have changed to the point where I am at risk then I can contact them (Orange Door said the same thing) so that they can take action.
the first two services above — both of the ladies there I spoke to (including one I’m speaking to ongoingly) have been such amazing ladies to speak to, and they were very empathetic about it too. The lady from Orange Door I spoke actually went through a similar situation in the past that I’m currently going through so it’s even great to have someone you can talk to that can actually relate. 😊
I’m sorry to know that none of the services seem to be helping you regarding your situation, but please keep being strong and never give up on it. ❤️🫂 I believe in you 😊🤗
Thanks so much, and I hope you stay strong too. 🫂💪🏼
We’re in this together!!
@Spirit_Healer thank you, happy Chinese/Lunar new year to you too! 🏮🧧

@Blackcloud I'm so glad that you have at least found some services that are willing to offer support. And it's great that you found someone that can relate to your situation, that can be so helpful.
Thankyou for your kind words. It's not even 12pm and already I'm really struggling. I've reached out to sane, lifeline and suicide call back service. 2 out of 3 were helpful and alot of emotions came out. Can we just fast forward to tomorrow already 😞.

@Gremlin24 That’s what’s very important right now - getting your emotions out and talking to people and services that actually get it. Empathy is the number 1 thing I value when it comes to that. 💪🏼❤️
by the way I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned about joining a golf program tomorrow but I already chose to opt out of it just last night as it was far from where I live, hence I’m just not interested in it anymore 😅🤣 I have other social group events that I plan on attending to starting from next Saturday which is great!
anything else you plan on doing for yourself today?

I learned recently from my new therapist that there's something called the Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program which can provide you with government funded support including assistance with applying for NDIS, give you a support worker for a day a week and give you access to extra therapy with their psychologists
I've been referred

@Blackcloud but when my emotions come out things get incredibly intense really fast.
Oh you said about the golf, that sucks that it's far away but at least there's other social events that you plan on going to.
I got nothing really. I want to do some craft but I don't know what to do. My brain is just going everywhere at once and trying to see anything through tears is impossible. I'm also limited with what I can do as I have to avoid anything that could trigger me.
