Re: Best Friends Club
@Gremlin24 oh what painting were you working on earlier? and that's really cool that you've given art club a shot, i know that you mentioned preferring colouring over drawing but regardless, i think it's amazing that you've tried!
which art club drawing was it, the robot one?

Re: Best Friends Club
@rav3n white chocolate mocha, the best!
In the summer I have between 1 and 3 cups a day. I use the flavoured coffee sachets or if I'm in the mood I'll use my coffee maker. It's not a capsule machine so it takes more time and the coffee of course is a lot stronger.

Re: Best Friends Club
oh i love that! i don't know a lot about Pokemon but what you mentioned about Evie's evolutions being different resonates with me too, glad you finally got her @avant-garde
that's sort of how Harry Potter is to me, i've never finished reading the books but the movies were my lil escape during the dark times. and i really loved the phoenix in the movie, the concept of 'rebirth' and 'rising from the ashes' reminds me of the evolutions you mentioned.

Re: Best Friends Club
@ENKELI oh nice! i have around the same per day too, do you drink tea as well? or just a coffee person?
i tend to use the sachets as well, i don't own a coffee maker/capsule machine... i don't know if i should invest in one or not. do you reckon it's worth it long term?

Re: Best Friends Club
ooo that looks so pretty so far!! @Gremlin24 what do you tend to do with all your finished artworks?
hmm are you a perfectionist when it comes to art? because i get the feeling that maybe you're being hard on yourself? but also... robots in general are weird-looking when you think about it so if your robot looks weird... then perfect!? 😆

Re: Best Friends Club
@rav3ni don't know where most of my stuff is, some will be floating around in my shed others have been lost while having to move from place to place.
I'm not a perfectionist but I am scared to not do something right for fear of getting in trouble and being judged.

Re: Best Friends Club
phoenix butterfly!!! SO good, did you paint it on wooden panels or something? @avant-garde really love the quotes around it too, its symbolism never fails to empower me.

Re: Best Friends Club
It's on beach board actually with a white wash
It tied to a poem I wrote that was in my handbag when my car was broken into... maybe that's why I haven't displayed it... it still hurts so much
