@PeppyPatti was it confronting hearing those things from.your husband? I think it's really good that he is being opened and expressing what it is like for him. Are you ok though? Did you choose a Christmas gift for him to buy?
Yes I'm.hoping the trip goes well. 2.5hr with 2 kids, a dog, easily triggered husband that's learning emotional regulation and a dog.
This time of year is sensitive 🥺 because we used to spend Christmas day with my sister and her family. Due to the family estrangement we can't do that anymore. My way of coping with it was to travel on the 25th each year to be away from Sydney and I guess the memories. It also gives us 4 time away as a family. I love spending time with the kids and playing board games. They are usually very happy spending time in the pool. I hope to get some reading done! Have so many books to catch up on!

Actually it's a big load off in that this is something I do - I'm coming to terms that I do it. I'm very relieved he knows this. I do do this.
I pull something out of the bag iv stored for. A Long time.
It's like I pray he will stuff up and not buy me presents so I can bring it up for the next million years.i would have held onto that one that no presents in my sock. Fortunately I commented on all the gifts he had in his sock compared to mine so he bought me two gifts today with more to come like a melting chocolate.
And I do this just after I see my Mother. It's like I go mad.

Dear @Healandlove
It sounds a good idea. Pool sounds wonderful. Yeah
It's very tough with family. I dunno. You can engage or you can be very happy that husband is beginning a new journey with emotions. The children!! Cool !!
How old are they again ?
They don't need family stuff.
They need to have fun in a pool !!
