@Shaz51 he might feel differently if he knew it was impacting you! I guess you gotta decide which is going to cause the least overall distress hey, talking to him or just enduring!
Haha he's got the restlessness bug! Maybe cos he's so used to all the energy he used to spend at work!!
I am heading off soon so I shall bid you night night mamabear!! Hope your Sunday is chill and I will catch you next week superstar 😋💜

Hi my Shazzy my sister @Shaz51 !
I'm OK. Went to see my inlaws yesterday and I was just thinking how much healthier our relationship is because of my boundaries.
I no longer worry if they are happy with me or love me. I don't need that and I treat them with respect but distanced.
They are partly the reason my husband has cptsd although they would never admit it. As long as they are respectful of our rules and are children then I'm OK. We see them once every couple of months so they can see the kids. Any more frequently would be unhealthy and unbearable.
So all in all I think the EMDR is helping me cope with these interactions.
Today we are hoping to drive our doggo to the Blue Mountains to test if his tummy will take a 3 hour trip to Mudgee during Christmas.
I always like to go away on the 25th for a few days as it is very hard to spend 25th without my nephews the way I used to.
With regards to being corrected yes sometimes my husband does that or likes to put a negative spin on things which is the most frustrating. I do ask him why is he being negative or simply tell him what I think.
Sometimes he rakes it well and sometimes he doesn't. I try to be gentle in my approach.
It gets tiring though so sometimes I just change the topic. So I understand why you don't want to Mr Shaz about it.
What are you up to today my sis?
🫂🥰

Hi @Shaz51
thanks for the heads up, avoiding the heat for the next couple of days. My work Christmas party last night, only a small business so just a few of us there but it was pleasant.
It is the festive season, silly season for some, and some reports are that it represents the most difficult period of the year for some. If that is so, I am sure SANE will offer your usual excellent support and hats off to that.
Keep up the good work.

@Glisten my farm and horsie days are long over.... But l have a lovely farm girl friend who is determined to have families of quail or various pheasant or chooks.. in her suburban home. It keeps her grounded... At the zoo there was a lot of various dung collecting.... Getting too old for that myself these days...lol
@Shaz51 @Healandlove @Glisten @Oaktree @Alittleorange @Dimity @Clawde1 @avant-garde .... And all who need a hand or a hug....
