@ENKELI I just bought a 5kg bag of carrots 🥕 😆
Retiisi, absolutely Lenny and Mac can be ridden. You could put a 3 year old on Lenny, he is so gentle and well trained.
Every afternoon Mac keeps mouthing the bridle on the fence. Because he is bored and wants a lunge in the circle.
Jeff lunges L&M every Thursday and Saturday.
Currently Jeff is interstate. His mother passed. Jeff will be back before Christmas.
I can’t ride. I want to pay Jeff for a block of lessons. Everyday for 3 weeks.
If Tom Burlinson can do it, then so can I.
The filly in the next enclosure snores 😳
She was lying down in the sun, mouth open making this sound. I thought she had colic or was bitten by snake. I start running over. No. She’s snoring. She gets up and casually walks over to get a drink at the trough.
Horses, honestly who’d have one? 🤣

Gggrrrraaaaahhhh!!!
Allergies mean allergies!
What don't they get!
Yes I have sulfur in my shampoo! But I'm not DRINKING my shampoo am I! I wash it out within 3 minutes!
I have an ear infection still... doctor gave me antibiotic script... we've given up on ever giving me ear drops again... tablets it is... was somewhere different and thought "I have time, I'll call in here" BIG MISTAKE!
He gave me the script, I always check, I walk back in, show them the ingredients, and he asks me "you have sulfur in your shampoo don't you?" and I reply "I don't ingest my shampoo". He gives me my script back and I walk out the door.
Oh but it doesn't end there! He didn't cancel the script on his system! So I couldn't get it filled at the next place I tried! I had to CALL HIM and have it cancelled! How incompetent can a pharmacist be!
The next place was absolutely lovely, they did the research and found a brand that I could have, printed out the CMS for me so I could check and though they didn't have any in stock, I had the brand name and called my chemist so I can take the script and get it filled tomorrow.

ughh i can hear how frustrating that must've been to deal with!! @avant-garde really glad you were able to have a more positive encounter at the next place, hope all goes well with getting the script tomorrow!!

Awww hun @avant-garde ! What unnecessary drama!
I don't know the legalities, but is it even allowed that they give you something you are clearly allergic to?
I'm a bit confused. Doesn't the script say whether you get the drops or the tablets? Also, can they just change a script to get the one you can take? Isn't that the doctor's job?
Sorry for all the questions. I just want to make sure I've understood the post correctly.

It's at the pharmacist's discretion, some are just idiots.
I had been on drops for a week and the infection just moved further inside, outer ear to middle ear.
Doctor gave me a script for capsules this week and we agreed that drops clearly don't work for me and so he's just going to give me tablets to start with rather than having me on drops then later having to give me a script for tablets anyway when the drops don't work.
Pharmacist didn't try to change the script, just have me a brand I couldn't have with sodium laurel sulfate as an inactive ingredient.
Doctors prescribe a medication not a brand, different chemists stock different brands with different inactive ingredients.
You can change brands, thus changing the composition of inactive ingredients, but can't change the active ingredient.

Oh! That makes so much more sense @avant-garde
I'm sooooo sorry! How frustrating! And the cheek to ask whether you use shampooo....
Not wonder you feel frustrated!
I hope you are able to get the med you need.
Ear infections are HORRIBLE! Don't go catching a plane, will you? (I caught a plane whilst having an ear infection once.... not a good idea!)

@avant-garde totes understand the shampoo sulphate or sulphur in shampoo.
@rav3n @tyme @Shaz51 @Oaktree washing my hair with shampoo that has sulphates in it, feels like my scalp is on fire 🔥 When my hair dries, the skin on my scalp peels.
@avant-garde as @Meowmy says Life is hard.

@ENKELI I collect two wheelbarrow loads of nice fresh horse manure for this limey sand pit of a place.
Do I need to go to [edited by moderator] Bunnings tomorrow?

Ohh @Glistenyou wouldn't be without your horses.... I couldn't do that work tho....
@avant-garde hearing you about incompetence....
Pity it is so hard to call it out and they still get paid!
Wish the health care workers were more humble...
