@boutthattime fantastic! You are the second Sparky turned artist that I know of.
It makes me very happy when people pursue what they love.
It makes the world a better place to live.
Where do your artistic ideas come from?
Do you design on paper first? Do friends commission work from you?
I look forward to seeing more of your artistic work.

I really appreciate this comment . For me it’s just like when I build anything it’s when I can see it in my head then I know I can do it . Feels like that’s really random timing though ittl just come to me once I can see it I know I can build it I’ve just bought 2 pieces of timber that I’m gunna use over the Christmas break and I can’t see it yet other than I think I’m gunna use green. So far I started really small pine chopping boards and cases for guitar equipment. Some worked some didn’t some I sold some I gave to friends. This Christmas break will be the third Christmas in a row I’ve built a mould and clamped timber down in the mould and poured the resin in. I’m gunna try explain all this stuff so other people can try if they want but definitely start small I made so many mistakes and wasted resin and it’s not cheap

@Oaktree I don’t do any resin. Can’t handle the smell.
If you join the Shed, you can ask for a resin workshop.
If there are other members interested, Women’s Shed President will find an experienced person to facilitate.
I haven’t been at the Shed in weeks.
