Hi @Spirit_Healer. It sounds like you've been through such an intense time, i'm sure being in the ED with all the lights and noise didn't help. That would be too much for anyone I would think. It's nice that your friend helped out but it must be so incredibly frustrating, not to mention unhelpful, that your carer and family aren't displaying much understanding about your needs right now.
It is great to hear that you're feeling a bit more rested and settled now. I'm sure getting that 8 hours must have been such a relief and felt so good to get some decent rest. Everything feels so harder to manage without much sleep.
And of course, speaking about frustrating... the wait times you are having to deal with at the moment seems ridiculous, but sadly not surprising with how underfunded everything seems to be, especially mental health. Hopefully you have some luck getting that support soon. You deserve any support you can get to help your well-being.

How did that appointment go with your lawyer? Hopefully some good news and some glimmer of light there.

good afternoon lovelies!
@Glisten hope all goes well with the lawyer, those appointments seem draining! leaning on your psych sounds like a good plan for this week - sending you energy and hugs 💜
@Spirit_Healer it's really lovely to see you back, i can see the last few weeks have been rough and having your carers/parents clash with your needs can be tricky to navigate - super proud of you for reaching out for the support you want. and yay to 8hrs of sleep!! sending you energy and hugs too 💜

@Mustang67At least you can still feel confident if the first procedure doesn't do the trick, knowing that it sometimes take a few goes. Hopefully it doesn't come to that and it worked first time around.
Well that is disappointing about the ring! It seems to be getting a bit late if they're going to do one isn't it?
I think you're doing well to manage everything so you're not doing too much and focusing on the things you feel are priorities for your well-being. I know it's easy to fall into that thinking of the more i do, the more chance something will work or they'll all combine to give a better result, but sometimes it can all just get a bit draining.
Those coins look amazing. Those bands of colour really make them stand out.
I'm doing okay thanks. Probably still taking on more than I should, but I just feel that life is too short to not try these opportunities. As I noted before though, I do have to be careful now, bit it is all becoming at little much.

@MJG017 I am not fussed if it takes more than one go. I would rather they err on the side of caution, rather than over stretch it. As they said if that happens, it will give me more issues to deal with. And I love going to hospital, as you get a decent sleep and then get fed afterwards. Lol 😂🤣
I don't understand why they would not make the men's and ladies ring at the same time. The men have their ring 😒 If they don't make one, I might just get another year, as when it is on your finger, all the ring look exactly the same. Maybe I should get the one for 2020. So I can get the other dates engraved inside the ring.
I just received an email regarding my print, so I got a bit excited when I saw the words "great news". All it was saying was they are on track for dispatch around November-December. Where Nathan hangs at the moment, the ex put up some blue Christmas lights hanging from the top of the frame. I told him if he is going to do that, the lights need to be pink, as the Panthers wore their pink jersey in the grand final this year. LOL
I have worked out that for me, I need to keep my life as simple as I can, and not have too many things on the go at once. Otherwise, it all becomes too overwhelming and then nothing gets done. So I am very keen on attending my physio appointment tomorrow, to see what they have in store for me.
And I can't seem to function if I try to sort out my belonging in the spare room on my own. I find it very hard to make decisions, as if I do want to keep something, there really is no room to keep it in the cabin, so we will have to box my stuff up and take it to my mums for the time being. But I need a second person with me, to help me decide and keep me on task. Otherwise it does get too much for me.
Please remember to practise self care and don't over extend yourself. As this is when people normally get sick. Well I do anyway. And funny you say that you feel like life is too short, as that is the exact reason why I have change my focus to Silver bullion coins instead of the coloured ones. I no longer have any assets to leave my daughter, thanks to her father, so I want to leave her the silver bullion, which will be easier to sell if she wants to or needs to.
