@Jynx Interestingly my experience of late has been that polyamorous relationships are more common among peer workers. Or perhaps they are just more open about it. Or I meet and talk to a lot of peer workers, lol. Not sure which it is. But I think if your happy, it's great!

Had blood tests done this morning, 3 goes at getting some
Thats always annoying. The left arm has a vein thats pretty good so they always use that for me. The problem is when ive just had bloods taken that spot isnt usable while/its still bruised.
I had to get some dye injected for a CT scan abd Id had bloods done the previous day, so this new guy had to use my right arm. After his maximum amount of attempts he had to go off and get his supervisor. They came back in with the supervisor talking about it being tricky some times... she had another 4 attempts before she got one in using the back of my wrist! Ive bever had a more painful needle in my life!

@Ainjoule hmm how interesting... I've also noticed it is more common amongst queer & neurodiverse folks... maybe it's just something about having spent time questioning and dismantling the... well I mean social 'norms' is probably correct but I almost wanna say social 'givens'... i.e. stuff like gender roles and heteronormativity, where for the most part it's like people don't even know that they don't have to ahere to them if it makes em unhappy.
Or to put it another way, if a neurodiverse person learns early on to have a critical eye for things people just assume applies to everyone, and learns that they will probably never really fit in with NT people, is it any wonder they also begin to question things like rigid gender roles and toxic monogamy culture?
Teehee yes I am happy, ty friend 💜
