Hi @Former-Member
I did it over a 6 month period.
I found some of it useful and some not.
The distress tolerance module was really good. I found some really good way to help myself when I was distressed.
I also found how to deal with others helpful too. Especially when in the past I would just agree with people regardless of my needs. I have found that I can still dea with people in a nice way but by putting my needs first and what I need from them without others becoming defensive.
I found it useful but would like to do it again at some time. I think I would get more out of it the second time around.
There are lots of good you tube videos on DBT which I suggest you have a look at too.
There are also a few threads on DBT on here too. If you just search DBT on the main page you will find them.
I hope this helps a bit
Snowie

But no, too busy here for me tonight. Not up to it.
Me too @Former-Member I've been run ragged.
I rarely get personal phone calls.
Then 2 long ones this afternoon, 1 hour long each - one after the other (2 hours).
Utterly exhausting.
No time to wind down for bed (to sleep).
No wind-down time = No Sleep.

Mmmm sandwiches bring up so many memories don't they!
I loved devon and tomato sauce. That was a specialty when I was a kid.
I had vegimite sandwiches most days in my lunch box at school but I used to swap with friends.
Some of my friends had vegimite and cheese sandwiches. They were gourmet sandwiches to me lol.
Sweet dreams everyone
