Curlew, had to look it up. Long legged bird with big eyes. Moves mostly at night. Aboriginal meaning " death". Have to laugh a bit at that. Better to laugh than get sad. Hope I'm not offering anyone. But that's what it says when U look it up.@tyme

They have a very loud cry and they can stay still for a long time without moving

The curlew are the birds top right. The left and bottom? I'm thinking something else? Don't need to be near water. But you know at night if you have a pair living near you. They are loud.
