That is a great question! Great hobby to have.... which takes you into amazing places! Would love to hear more about how you got into bird watching and where and how you do it?
I am living now near the beach and there are many birds that I see and hear (crows, kookaburra, seagulls, osprey and many others i dont know names of...) and the most impressive for me are the ones gliding overhead in the thermals and diving into the ocean to catch fish. Have you been learning to identify birds?

I am not a bird watcher exactly, but since living in my current house where I am lucky enough to be surrounded by trees, I've been slowly learning all the different types that visit. And I'm also getting to know their sounds/calls.
Gang Gangs are so beautiful, but sadly I haven't seen one in person yet… but it is on my bucket list!
I really appreciate how relaxing and peaceful it is to watch birds, it's such a lovely way to feel connected to nature.
I'm also really keen to do the BirdLife Aussie Bird Count this year!!
