Re: All Things Sport...
It looks like you are ready for the game against Penrith this weekend @NikNik lol
If Manly play like they did in the first 60 minutes last weekend then they will crush them lol

Re: All Things Sport...
hahaha @NikNik - I bet you already have your place sorted in the middle of all the kids lol
At least you are prepared (and have your own ball just in case lol). If they play the same as last week they will beat Penrith easily - fingers crossed. I would love to see Manly win for you

Re: All Things Sport...
I love sport and played many from 8 yrs old into my 30's. I received lots of medals/trophies which are still tucked away in a back cupbourd somewhere. I especially miss the competitive nature of 'me'. Nothing like a boost of metabolism to unleash the beast. lol
My gym trainer finally got me to do boxing/sparring as exercise a while ago. (Pre agoraphobic tendencies) Arthritis, being overweight and sports injuries aren't the ideal body type if you know what I mean. However, to my surprise I took to it, and with a few adjustments, managed to make her whince. Oddly, that spurred me on. Did I just admit that?
I like watching tennis and the olympics on TV, and sometimes AFL if the Swans are playing. I really love doco's on past sporting hero's too.
Ok...well just joining in the banter.
Hope x

Re: All Things Sport...
Ok @Zoe7
I played netball, basketball, hockey, squash, soccer, NRL (A few gals from the pub comp) and most recently, table tennis.
Probably my most successful was playing pool, once my knee's gave way. I earned an international gold medal against 7 people from countries all over the world. The final was against a woman from the US.
Wow...these notifications are going off gang busters!
Hope x

Re: All Things Sport...
It is a really busy night tonight @Hope4me - my puppy dog thinks music is playing on my computer with all the dings lol (I actually made myself really laugh with that one)
WOW - what a range - and what achievements .
I had to give up sport a long time ago when I hurt my neck - either that or potentially do more damage and possibly not be able to walk.
