Re: A Poem? Maybe?
justanother47yr, I know, but it just starts to cry, my heart, then aches because it cries. Another thing I have no control over.

Re: A Poem? Maybe?
Hey there,
You know @Loopy I've found over the years it has helped me not to try to control things so much. It's been kinder on myself to accept that sometimes I'm in pain, need to cry etc. And the reality is we're never in control of what happens in our lives, it seems very like a Western figment - a bit like "normal".
Take care of you, I'm very sorry you are hurting ATM
Kind regards,
Kristin

Re: A Poem? Maybe?
kristin, this is about my feelings towards my last employment, may sound dumb but as my shrink said, "I was married to the job and had a defacto wife."
I feel like a boomerang, you throw me but not only that
Every time you throw me, I always seem to come back
Back to you, back to pain
Nothing has changed your still the same
I can not start over because I don't know where to start
I guess that is what happens when someone breaks your heart
If we are suppose to follow our dreams, why can't I follow you
Because now I am so lost, I wish you were lost without me to
lost loopy.

Re: A Poem? Maybe?
Dearest @Loopy
I think I know what you mean about being married to the job, luckily for me I had a child - then I had to stop working because I could not both work and parent my child (still can't). I see this now as a saving grace, though just that realisation has been at least a decade-long discovery.
I really like the stuff which you find around the internet & post here, but this is your own - and I like it so much more. Thanks so much for sharing it - it's beautiful, rawly honest and poignant. There are a few more poems on this thread which I don't know if you've seen? Including one I wrote a couple of years ago about my own sense of being lost, and what helps me in that space. I hope they might be of some help or comfort to you.
Kindest regards,
Kristin
