Re: ever wonder why

Thankyou @wordman. All your words are special to me. It is wonderful you understood the heart! Sending blessings to you too.

Re: ever wonder why

Hi, @maddison@wordman , @tonys , and all you other beautiful people. I have seriously wondered what it's about, also. I was on a philosophical forum for many years with contributing members from around the world. "But coming out of the same door in through which I entered". 'There was a little while of me and you, then no more; without wine, without a singer, without song, and without end.

I learned not to sigh for the Prophet's paradise to come,  some are for the glories of this world; ah, take the cash and let the credit go, nor fight another man's war.

Very best to all

@BobP

Re: ever wonder why

Wordman

Re: ever wonder why

@BobP @tonys @maddison Hello all. Thank you BobP for your response. Your words are special to me and ask that we continue to communicate together. No need to Sigh for the Prophets paradise, it is coming.

Kind Regards

Wordman

Re: ever wonder why

Hi @tonys @wordman @maddison @Jake63  and all others.

I find your posts so enlightening, a sort of 'wake-up call', I had a couple of strokes a month ago that played havoc in my mind and I've not fully recovered. It's great to be in the company of SANE people who are honest with each other, though more importantly, honest with themselves.

I was going to take Catholic holy orders while in London, but when I realized what went on I opted out. My takeaway from Catholicism was: digitum tuum trahere ex asino tuo, and

ne nothi te gerunt  (google translate will put the Latin into English).

Best

@BobP

Re: ever wonder why

@BobP  I just translated it from Latin to English and had a good laugh! ðŸ¤£

I grew up going to Catholic schools and know a few 'souls' who I would have liked to say that to!

Re: ever wonder why

Thank you @hanami for your response, It's a truly privileged gift to be with you all,

Re: ever wonder why

It's a gift for me to be around such lovely members. ðŸ˜Š

Re: ever wonder why

@maddison  hey there maddison,  if you're dancing , then I'm happy.

Drunk you say.    Nahhh,..    I practice the lost art of savouring to long.   Rosy cheeks , a little shiny, may be,  its the french way.   Its about the hands , that picked and prepared the banquet.

I'm no good at emojis and pictures,  but thinking about your train letter ,  i felt a poem coming on,    For you my dear friend.

Thunder and light

       splinters the night

Steam engines roam the waste lands

Pieces of hearts

    in old railway carts

Neither know

     nor do we understand..

The ghost trains ran out of rail long ago

Now flamed by the souls that have fled

The soldiers that left their blood in the snow

lost live  ,        love letters         unread

Day after day ,  she knew not where he lay

In her dreams forged that runaway train

The last snow geese fly

      the towns tear well dry

Mounts her phoenix  to the land of the slain.

In the midst of her dreams,   of cold mountain streams

His warm breath like spring on her face.

She woke to the feel   of thunder and steel,

and the hope of her lost loves embrace.

Long nurtured visions     of steam train collisions

Can they touch no matter the cost

The trains truth belies,

 different worlds,       different skies

Measured gains     against what we have lost.

love letters intentions       to breach the dimensions

Old photos       and long faded dresses.

Close the old box

       New keys    for new locks

and the memories of trains evanesces.

Saved that last word you gave me long ago for a special place .  hope it rings

tonys moonbase one.
