@Exoplanet feeling similarly about any of us knowing each other in a way, whether here in the magic of virtual space, or in full physical form. For me there's mystery in any human relationship. An unknowable part in each of us. So much unknown to ourselves about ourselves and others, over the wires or face to face.
There's a poem I remember, a love poem, that has the line, "you will never understand me" as one of the beautiful aspects of being together with another. I keep returning to a spiritual idea, the Great Mystery. That which is unknown is far greater than what we believe we do know. This greater unknown is to be honoured. I love you too. 
Have to admit I'm not really feeling the love of myself much at the moment. It feels quite a lot like a biological thing with my mental health, now in a kind of roundabout with poor physical health. This coming down started about September last year, when my physical and mental health started to go downhill under too much stress from the huge projects I'd committed to, involving many people.
But things may be starting to look up a little. If I can build on that small flame of creativity I've been finding; if I can steadily grow it, instead of in an escalating obsessive rush like last year; then I may find a happier experience with creativity and life in general.
I went for a little walk in a beautiful park today and saw a small horse, ducks, water fowl, and a goose looking down at me from a suburban fencetop. Overnight I was out in my little courtyard bathing in full moon.

Your so right, none of us really know anyone, we don't even know ourselves. I
think the reason why we don't, is because there's just far too much to know. The
energy that is created within our minds, through the processes inside our brain, is
something I don't think we have a name for; though I think we refer to it as
thoughts & emotions or our soul. I think inside our skulls we have a nano-
Universe, potentially infinite as it is ever-changing. We are constantly on a journey
exploring the unknown within ourselves.
That internal Universe is beyond knowing & I think we all, at times, lose
ourselves. We forget to appreciate ourselves & the magnitude of magnificence
each of us are. If your having trouble loving yourself, I hope it helps having my
love for you, despite the fact that I know we can not know each other. {How's that
for confusing!}
