It's that judging way of thinking that I feel everywhere
Like you all got so much energy to spare
You sure you know what's up?
Don't think you know it from down
She's hurting, but as if you care
She's looking for a way to use the rush so often surging
Can't call it anger or it gets out of hand - urging
her to do some damage
If only she could manage
to see an example,
taste a sample
of pure creative joy in the air

Dearest @BlueBay
I've been slowly reading your messages......dont ask me to remember them...I'lle need to get back to them later today or tomorrow.
This is a big hug to you honey.
@eth I like your poem. It is simple. I write simple poems. I have a poem that Mazarita put a video to;
Please don't take this the wrong way, but I found @Silenus more......twisty. Thats what I like about simplicity. I draw layered pictures but write simple poems. @Silenus writes layered poems, I need to reread it though
Thank you for the poems,
PP
This is one of the pictures I draw of boats....

Hi @Silenus
I am finding writing therapeutic. I find that i can go with the flow of whatever I write. I re-read those poems that I wrote and I can't believe I wrote them. Me!!!
The only thing is that when i start writing I get very emotional because it brings up a lot of things. I guess it's good to release that emotion or emotions.
I will keep writing my story but at the moment it's on hold.

Hi @BlueBay. I am so glad that you are finding writing therapeutic. I agree, it can be very intense, and bring up a lot of emotions. I have written poems where I have had to stop part way through because there are tears streaming down my face, and I can't see the screen or the keyboard...
So, take it at your own pace.
I love the poems that you have written. They come so very much from the heart, and they are dealing with some terribly complicated and painful things, such as the estrangement from your parents, your relationship with your mother... these things are incredibly difficult to deal with, and I am so very glad that you are finding writing about them to be helpful.
Hugs, hugs and more hugs... 🙂

Oh @Silenus
You are so kind!!! Thank you for your comments. Truly appreciated. I don't often get praised for anything I do, so i really thank you.
Sometimes I don't feel like anyone, a blob - but - when someone praises me and says nice kind words it lifts me up a bit. So thank you xxx
ps. hugs back to you too

This is another poem that I wrote to extol the virtues of writing as a form of therapy...
I invite you all to try your hand at writing, even if you don't feel that you are any good at it. It's not about being a good writer or a bad writer. It's about writing from the heart, about finding your voice, about expressing what you feel and think through your words...
The Write Stuff
With each word you write or say,
Even if your problems don’t go away,
At least you’ve tried hard to define
Thoughts and issues malign and benign.
Simply by expressing your hidden pain,
It takes away some of the strain,
Your words could be a call for help,
Or even just a suffering yelp.
Writing it down helps to express
Your highs, your lows, your calm, your stress;
Then you can start to figure out,
How to make it through life’s latest bout.
Whether it’s help from others or going it alone,
Your mistakes, your problems, you need to own;
By writing it down you can start to make sense,
By sifting through the lies and the self pretence.
The act of writing opens your mind,
And when you re-read it you may find,
Hidden truths you thought were not there,
And solutions to problems, hurt and despair.
So try your hand at writing it down,
Even if at first you feel like a clown,
You may just find after a start that’s tough,
You’ll soon be doing the write stuff.
