Re: Poem - This Cyclical Thing

That last poem was written now, as my mood is lifting from depression, and the buds are shooting into flower...

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

To my daughter:

Today you told me your partner left you
I cried for you and your baby
He doesn't deserve you anymore
You've been the best to him and the bsby
You cook clean and look after everyone
I look at you in awe
You have grown up so much since having your beautiful bsby girl
You're caring beautiful strong nature is one I admire
I love you as my daughter and no one can take thst away
For now you are teary but one day you will bloom again
And I hope your dream comes true that one day you marry the man of your dreams
Believe dream and achieve
I love you so much my beautiful girl ❤️❤️

Cheers, @Silenus, so glad I could bring you good feelings with the creative gift you have given me. Hugs! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

We would all get on so much better if we just made a simple adjustment to our thinking... if it doesn't concern you, it doesn't concern you...

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

I nostalgically dream of past times, back when I used to nostalgically dream of past times...

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Haha, @Silenus, I like that one. Funny and profoundly true. We have memories following us like a shadow throughout life, it seems. I'm away for three weeks from tomorrow morning, so won't be around this thread in that time. I hope you'll keep on rising out of that nasty depression until the cup is full, then take a well earned drink of that beverage and rest for a while in balance and contentment. Ciao for a while, Maz. ox

Happy trails, @Mazarita 🙂

Stigmata
-------------

Important conversations, not being had,
The end result is guaranteed bad;
If we allow stigma to silence our voice,
We limit ourselves to ignorant painful choice.

Nitmiluk...

I love that word...

It's in Jawoyn language, and means "place of cicadas" or "place of cicadas dreaming"...

The English name pales in comparison... Katherine Gorge...

We loved our time at the springs near Nitmiluk...

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

It works quite well... you make the right sounds, laugh when you are supposed to, deliver the proper platitudes, and nod or shake your head appropriately... there it is... no matter how much your inner world is falling apart and your very heart and soul are shattering, still you will be casually and comfortably seen as normal, a person without a care in the world...
