Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

@bipolarbunny @Dimity @BlueBay  (I still find this @ method a bit weird, hope you don't mind the tag).

Just thought I'd share another old poem:

Moments

Most moments occur

In an instant

Yet some can stretch

Over years

So much can happen

In a twinkle

A star might die

A love can be born

A second can hold

A lifetime of meaning

One tick or tock

Can change the world

86400

Happen every day

How many

Do you remember?

It only takes one

To make a week

A select few

Can be enough

To propel us on

From birth to death

Reason can be found

In the haystack of time

Like golden needles

Diamonds on their heads

Beacons of sense

In the puzzling fog

That fills so much of our lives

Day in, day out…

A moment in your eyes

And all is explained

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

It's a gem @StuF . And it's hopeful (mine reflected the "puzzling fog"  you mention). Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the tag, I really appreciate it.

@bipolarbunny

I just realised that I didn't directly respond to Concrete In The Veins!

Remiss of me. I Really like it. Your rhythm, rhyme, imagery, diction...Excellent

And very apt that you reference Dr Suess

Bravo 🙂

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

@StuF Nice verse Stu, reminds me that life and the moments that make up life are fleeting and we should live each one as full as possible. Great stuff. Hope you are well. xx
