Once, a mate offered to set me up with a girl he knew, to be my girlfriend. She was totally not my type, so the offer in and of itself wasn't helpful.

But I don't know... I guess it's reassuring to know that people do at least have some inclination to be helpful. Maybe one day, somebody will offer to set me up with the right girl...
