I'm hating new job. My co-works are giving me anxiety, a bit of gas lighting. I'm really trying to get through this new girl phase. It's my second job in a year. The first one was the same.
I'm starting to think people are all crap. Always competitive and wanting to drag and old girl down. I feel old and washed up.
Trying to finish my second degree to show I still have skills in my old profession pre kids. When I applied for my professional work I was overseen for young fit people, often with no experience. I have experience. I'm not stupid, I have common sense and an easygoing outlook. That erks people I think. They think I'm not conscientious enough.
I just hate work. I wonder if I will ever find my work home again. Losing hope.
What do I do.
Deep breaths in my lunch break.

Hi @Messylife,
Thank you for sharing with us.
I'm very sorry that you're having these issues with the people at your new workplace, no one should have to deal with gaslighting and ageism — it's disgraceful that people aren't kind and supportive in their place of work.
Good on you for studying for your second degree, that's hard yakka, and you should be commended. I think that's great that you see your strengths, which I think is helpful for when you're feeling underestimated and/or discriminated against.
Even in a new role, you deserve respect and should the issues persist, you should tell your superior or HR.
There is also this Employment, education, and training space for people to talk about their concerns around studies and/or work — which may be a good way to connect with others in a similar position.
I hope that your situation improves. Looking forward to hearing from you.
