My sciatica improved after I started moving more, but it didn't improve straight away. It hurt to walk for a while but it's getting easier and less painful

@Dimity exercise is not a panacea… but has helped me limit medication and pain and had other benefits. There are definitely days I feel lower in mood and stamina. Eg still haven’t done my single leg balance set while doing arm raises with weights… cos I fell over cos I tripped on my sock doing my sideways crab walk! Duh! Never knew that was a hazard. Finding the right mix for you… for each individual… matters. Good luck with surgery.
@Patchworks Sciatica is hard. I am keeping it at bay for the moment. Getting old ain’t for cissies.
Big cooee

No one has given me a coo---eeeee in ages! Thanks @Appleblossom !
I recently heard you were stuck with logging into your account here. Is it all okay now? Was it because of a tech issue on our side? I know it's sorta sounds stupid that I'm asking after you've posted, but I was wondering if this is an ongoing issue where you can log in sometimes and not other times.
If you have issues, you can email us at team@saneforums.org

Hi @Shaz51 and everyone,
I started doing Pilates using an app but it stopped working so I stopped doing it 😞
I have now signed up to a fitness centre for classes which starts in a week. I'll wait to see if I can do the exercises with my back/hip how it is.
I noticed that if I wear cheap shoes, my hip pain flares up so I stick to good sneakers (I was gifted a good pair of shoes).
How are you Shaz?

Thanks @Shaz51 , yes I'll be guided by any discomfort so I don't hurt myself
I hope your mechanical bill wasn't too big. I don't know card well so dread the mechanic bills. It's good you got you're walking in. I walked over 7000 steps yesterday, slow day today
