Enjoy your day @Shaz51 ! x

Re: We've got your back

@Shaz51 @ClockFace @Appleblossom  and everyone I hope you're managing OK. I've given up on exercises for back pain and pinched nerves for now - I have to see a specialist for another problem limiting movement. So the back and leg pain are worse. I'm restricting otc pain meds by choice and don't often take them, and will continue avoiding them when I can as I've just found I have a polycystic kidney. I haven't asked for prescription pain meds. Maybe that means it's not too bad - that or I'm a martyr. But I'm getting fed up with it and with low vision and depression and currently battling trauma therapy it's all a bit much. I'm safe but cranky.

I'm still trying to walk but slower and not as far, and heat helps at night.

Thanks.

Re: We've got your back

Love the way you combine authenticity with reassuring the reader @Dimity

I am in similar position re spine and pain meds. Lumber issues stubborn plus plus.Lucky no kidney stones.

we can only stretch and exercise so much… or risk becoming rats on treadmill

Hang in there mate

btw I am ornery too

my beans are spilling everywhere

Re: We've got your back

Hiya @Appleblossom good to see you. They say misery loves company but I'd rather we were doing a bit better.

Re spilling the beans it's a trust/safety thing... to divulge and be open seems associated with strength but vulnerability and self-protection gotta be acknowledged too. Right time right place right people says she wrestling with EMDR after many years of internalisation.

Rats and treadmills... poor things. Paradox there, becoming automatons to feel alive. I'm in no danger of overexerting myself, parts are rusted solid while others are falling apart.

Love to you Apple, and I hope all is well on the domestic front.
