Re: Walking for Wellness
I neither ran nor walked this morning but I did volunteer as a Marshall at an event.
I’ll walk tomorrow. It’s been a lovely sunny day without a cloud in the sky and tomorrow is supposed to be the same.

Re: Walking for Wellness
I did quite a bit of Walking through several Shopping Centres, this afternoon.
I'm one of those people who does not try to get the closest Parking Bay (to Shop entrance).
I'm quite happy to walk through the Carpark, to entrance - then walk through the entire Shopping Centre, to get to the Shop that I need.
That's what I usually do, most times that I go shopping.

@frog @Eve7 @Dimity @Shaz51 @Adge
Great work everyone! I had a day off training today still cold and wet here in country Vic, haven't been outside for a run for over a week. Really need to rug up and just hit the pavement, much easier to ride my bike indoors but getting bored with that.
Hope you all have a great evening. xx
@Oaktree I hope you are feeling better my friend xx

Re: Walking for Wellness
Hello @Oaktree @bipolarbunny @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Adge I hope you're finding walking an outlet if you're in lockdown land. I've been walking every second day for essentials like doctor, groceries but will try to walk again tomorrow and over the weekend to work off some anxiety and maybe pass some neighbours who are also out for exercise. How are you getting on? A few years ago some colleagues and I did a walking challenge using pedometers to track our progress. Have any of you used fitness apps?

Re: Walking for Wellness
@Dimity I am not an apps type of person, so walking up an escalator is actually a big thing for me ... Mostly I am just an out and about kind ... and walk if I can ... even do a few laps around stations
@bipolarbunny @Shaz51 @Oaktree and all
Someone is picking me up for a walk tmrw morning which is lovely.
Best Foot Forward ...
