Today, I choose differently.

I’m shifting my mindset and remembering the woman I used to be…

the one with fire in her chest and dreams bigger than her fears.

Life has been hard lately,

So, I’m fighting back.

I’m done feeding the things that drain me.

Done pouring into what leaves me empty.

From now on, I choose what fills my soul.

I’ve spent too long grinding through obligations that never replenish me.

That ends now.

I owe myself more than survival.

More than routine.

More than “good enough.”

I’ve been moving through life on autopilot,

ignoring the quiet voice inside me that whispers,

“This isn’t it.”

No more.

No more excuses.

No more waiting for permission.

If my life isn’t what I want,

then it’s my responsibility to change it.

I’ve been treading water for too long.

Existing instead of living.

Making a living and forgetting how to live.

That version of me?

She’s done.

I’m done accepting “good enough” happiness.

Done letting moments slip past without recognizing them.

Done telling myself “someday.”

Someday is now.

I’m taking my joy back.

Reclaiming my time.

Reclaiming my spark.

Instead of listing reasons I can’t,

I’m finding every reason I can.

Life is too short to leave words unsaid,

dreams untouched,

passion unfelt.

This is my wake-up call.

Maybe it’s yours too.

We don’t need a new year.

We need a new decision.

Right now.

Not temporary happiness.

Not a highlight reel.

But a life that feels alive.

Yes, chasing dreams will be hard.

There will be detours.

Obstacles.

Moments that test us.

But anything worth having demands courage.

And I have that.

With love in my heart,

peace in my soul,

and fire in my spirit,

there is nothing beyond my reach.

So, take my hand.

Let’s stop settling.

Stop rationalizing less than we deserve.

This is our moment to remember who we are.

To believe again.

Forget yesterday’s weight.

Stop fearing tomorrow’s unknown.

Today is where forever begins.
