Hello @Dimity @TAB @Oaktree @Former-Member
I've discovered a great way to get motivated! First you lie on your bed with a novel in the afternoon. Then, as you read about life on the American frontier in the 1800s, you realise that these pioneers worked incredibly hard from dawn to dusk every day of their life without ever sitting down unless it was to scrape the dirt off root vegetables or something! Then you feel ashamed of yourself. Then you get up and do 3 solid hours of work on the house!! 😄

Have been a busy bee in the kitchen today. I had half a huge head of cauli that I didn't use all of this week so blitzed it lightly in the food processor to form "rice" I used to buy frozen cauliflower rice from Woolies but this works out cheaper and you get more bang for your buck. So got 4 ziplock bags worth of cauliflower rice which is a great low carb rice substitute if you are dieting etc.
Washed the sink, tossed out weekly recyclables and a small amount of kitchen waste. Put vegie clippings on the green waste compost.
Cleaned the bathroom vanity and collected loo rolls from the toilet which also went into recyclables.
Cleaned off my computer desk and sorted bits and pieces of loose paper with notes attached
Cleaned the dresser in my bedroom. Put on the air filtration in there as well as in the living room for filtered air.
I think that will be all for today. I just had lunch an hour or so ago and feeling a bit tired on my feet.

Yeah @TAB rice is like 30-40g carb or possibly more. I don't eat rice anymore. Got to get carbs down. What have you been doing today? I have to put through another load of washing to hang out on the line tomorrow. Hopefully it will be good weather for it.

Yeah bread can be a problem, I was the same but I have got incentive not to eat it anymore. I just checked - a serve of cauli rice is like 3g carbs while rice is like 44g carbs. It explains a lot doesn't it? Most bread is around 30g or more carbs possibly higher if its white starchy bread @TAB. When you restrict carbs you start getting the results I did. I had no idea carbs could contribute to so much gain.
