This looks amazing!
I think I like not having social media
Because I'm already winning at this

I agree @avant-garde I must say I closed down my social media accounts the other day and the digital detox feels amazing. I also cancelled my Age newspaper subscription and read it online from my local library at my leisure. I am noticing a calmer disposition and it frees up more time to do things around the house. The guy who wrote the post is a Qigong Master, Orthodox Priest and former Canadian Intelligence officer. He also does a lot of corporate work to enable executives deal with stress.

I have a ghost Facebook account just to check on my mum but that's all it is, a ghost, no friends, empty feed, no real name, just to check on my mum
I don't have Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat...
I haven't had any of those for years

Absolutely love this @Chantarelle - I recommend shredding paper sometimes as a way to express anger in a non-destructive way! Bonus points if you write some yucky thoughts on em before you rip em up. Something to be said for the ritual of it I think 😉

Hey @Chantarelle That's a great idea to keep in the car, especially in traffic. Those directories, phone books and newspapers were good for that. I went to an anger workshop many years ago and we got to throw plates at a brick wall. It was so therapeutic! 😆 💛

Hi @avant-garde
Love the discussion topic.
A few of the essentials in my kit would be online chess (absolutely love it), youtube videos of historical and political lectures, and my contact list that I can connect to.
Season's greetings to you.
J.
