Re: Self Care Activities
Hi again @outlander @Former-Member @Clawde @Snowie just thinking of self care things that Im either currently doing or am Planning to do currently I am watching either movies or series on Netflix, eating regulary including favourite snack foods as well as showering sometimes showering twice a day ,some things I would like to do for self care though are to buy some new books to read, buy some new clothes, and be in better contact with famiy all though for the momment I am just used to living my own life although feeling isolated at times its also freeing to not be too bothered by what others opinions or jugdements about me could be,there is a select few family memebrs whom I do talk to and who really understand where I come from so I geuss holding onto the positives from that, also for some strange reason Im really missing my late father at the moment not sure whats brought that on the last few days or so anyway take care everyone

Re: Self Care Activities
Hi @LostAngel
Sounds like you have been doing a really good job with your self care, from doing things to thinking about what else you can do.
Self care can have such an impact on us and I am glad you are making it a priority.
Take care of you.

Re: Self Care Activities
Hi @LostAngel i think you have got the self care mixed up. Self care is doing something that helps to make you healthier and fitter as well as relaxation and feeling good and happy. Do you ever go for daily walks, are you a member of a gym or do swimming/yoga. Do you do arts or crafts? Eating bars of chocolate and LOTS of other unhealthy snack food is doing you more harm than good also watching lots of movies/tv staying in bed until late in the day. We ALL have mental conditions on here and we ALL feel like doing nothing but drinking coffee and alcohol.....we also need to support one another but I can't support your daily lack of motivation to try be healthy and help yourself. Iam so very sorry if this upsets you or anyone else on here, It's because I do care about you that I have to say this. Please take care 💗🌺

Re: Self Care Activities
I don't want to be right @LostAngel but it's not just about trying to sort out our thoughts and living inside our brain as we all do. We have to put just as much effort into our bodies. They are what carry us into the next stage of our wellness. I truly am sorry to have been so abrupt, but sometimes we need a kick up the A--- and not just empathy as all this does is keep us living the same lifestyle. You work so hard to help yourself and I applaud you for that. 💞
