Re: Living with Ourselves
Hello @Sophia1 Have been trying to string thoughts together to reply to your beautiful letter. Its hard.
Hope this finds you in good spirits. Back on solid food but meds are doing my head in.
@Owlunar I know you have had a rough time in hospital to and I'm sorry I could not be there for you.
@TAB well just thanks mate. sorry I can't always reply but I do play them, again and again. .
The autism defaults to abstract when I'm in a mess, good news for me, . . not so good for you is ,
yes , I'm still writing that sad crap that for sum reason brings me peace.
Cumulus
Throw back the drapes
on a disfigured room
But that old friend betrayed her
the silvery moon
Apocalypse skies raining
coal mine canaries
Crescendo of cries
blind broken wing fairies
So quick close those drapes
the reality reach
Belly up gasps
on a bilge oil beach
Passed between men
like a repurposed gift
Crawl through street gravy
in search of a lift.
Hearts discarded
like crushed paper cups
Trade all day in downers
for a hand full of ups
Search through fake lawns
till life's to soon over.
They prized from a dead hand
her false four leafed clover. . .
Sorry but the hospital gift shops empty, so thankyou so much to everyone, and will put some work in when I can think a little more main stream. @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @StuF @Thyme @Meg

Gentle hugs @Sophia1 @Shaz51 @Clawde @outlander
@tonys May I steal your line ... "blind broken wing fairies" think it suits me to a T, cos I am always off with them ... lol.
Always good to hear from all of you. Is a tonic to my spirits.

Re: Living with Ourselves
So good to hear from you. I hope that you feel better soon.
Thinking of you dear friend. I answered the survey the other day and said that I would like it if we could lose our cloak of anonymity with some of our trusted forum friends. I had you in mind. Sitting with you holding your hand in your hospital room. Sneaking you in a drink or two. Can't wait for you to get home and get tales from your life. Here is a photo of a tomato to make you feel more at home. I think it's just a cherry tomato. I did plant some Rouge de Marmande's though. This one was a volunteer tomato from my compost.
Lots of Love,
Meggle

Re: Living with Ourselves
Hi Sophia,
So sorry that it has taken me so long to get back to you. I have been quite busy and I was struggling with technology to get my photos to convert so I could post them here. Apparently I had put live on my camera which confused my pc. Anyway here I am to tell you about my gardening exploits.
I have been really enjoying gardening lately. Just before spring I bought some new raised garden beds. I have put some beetroot and turnips in one. I also planted carrots but they didn't come up so I just resowed yesterday. I put in another row of beetroot and another row of turnips and planted carrots in the sides.
The next raised bed has about 20 cos lettuce seedlings and I bought two mature strawberry plants to put in there yesterday. Will plant those out later today.
The third raised bed has tomatoes, capsicum and teeny tiny eggplant seedlings.
The last raised bed hasn't been planted yet but I intend on planting some sweet corn into that. I have the seeds, just have to plant them!
