Thanks @Teej. It feels good to be getting out and doing stuff, though a juggle and a stretch and I'm tired. I thought psych would pull me up a bit on overdoing it but instead made a joke about wanting to add to it and get me involved in some royal commission stuff. Of course my overactive brain went into hyped up "yes please!" mode and I found a community consultation session to attend. I'm going to have a bit of a think about whether it is going to all get too much soon, and what I can drop/not take on. It won't be the volunteer gig though, that's for sure. I sooo badly wish I could share where it is. You'd love it I think 😊

Big texts me all the freaking time. It helps me too. They were proud of themselves and I was proud of them.

So great to hear from you @TheVorticon. I got your post via email while the kids were setting up their new Mii's 😁 We have Kirby, Mario Kart and Mario Party at the moment. There are heaps of games I'd like but few that seem to be ones that will work well as co-op multiplayer, yet at least, and I can see myself falling into a gaming trap if I find one I'm really into. I also need a pro controller (or 4 haha) as the joy cons are way too small for me. I've heard Let's Go is really good, and really additive.

This was a (very generous) gift which is the only reason we have this console as I don't think it will be as family friendly as the wii. Pokemon though. Probably enough said 😉😁

I haven't seen Yooka-Laylee but what I googled looks cool! I hope you had fun playing with your controller 🙂

I'm glad to hear you're doing alright and have reconnected with your psych. I can imagine there would be some good feelings involved in reflecting back on times from a long time ago, but also those challenges too. It's hard to sit with the kind of stuckness that time (and work) doesn't seem to shift, I find.

Sorry to hear about the invisible feelings you can have here. That really sucks (not your feelings but that it happens). For what it is worth, I see that it does happen and I am sorry that it is the case. I've always enjoyed and appreciated your posts, the way you see and say things, and the you that we get to see here sometimes. I don't want to be a pest and ask how people are doing when maybe they don't want to or can't be around, but please know I care about you and 'see' you, and I think/know there are others who do too.

I had a great sleep thanks @Zoe7, until a kitten and a littlest decided to crawl into bed and play nice and early this morning! I think the cold got them last night and they were little heat seekers to start the day.

That is cute @CheerBear Toby spent the whole noght on the bed too which is a clear sign it was cold. I woke up to him being snuggled very close - usually he sleeps on the pillow next to me so it must have been cold. 

Debating still whether I will go to the market with my sister - think I need a sleep first and then will make that decision when I hear form her.

So cold @Zoe7! Yesterday was horrid! I'm heading somewhere the 'feels like' temp is currently hovering around 1°. Wintery weather is setting in now 😖
