New project alert!

So I have a bunch of pretty fabric face masks from covid days and had been trying to figure out what to do with them...

My 'brother' brought over a couple of small boxes for me to sort through and some of my face masks were in it...

I noticed some of them were symmetrical and folded from nose to chin and have started stitching up the sides to make little bags with the ear loops as handles or for a drawstring...

I remember feeling like a parrot wearing this one

@Liani i love that bag, I haven't done any sewing for years, since I was in school. 

@avant-garde omg the face masks, I had to get an exemption as I couldn't wear them at all, it would send me into a panic attack breathing my own air 😕. Look forward to seeing your creativity as always 🙂

@rav3n to be honest the inspiration was that of my late mother, I am going to complete something that she had started planning as it will benefit all of us that visit the house but also those who live here.

The current kitchen is over 30 years old and is very tired and starting to fall apart in some places so it needs to be fixed!

Currently working out the colour scheme for the kitchen, with the left side being the colour of the cabinet doors.  The Silver Tea Set will be the colour of the walls throughout the house.  The Endless Dusk will be the roof colour with the house doors being painted in Tranquil Retreat and the trim and cornice around the house being in Milton Moon.

Currently the whole house has walls and ceilings in a dull blue grey, not quite duck egg blue and more of the undercoat look to be honest!  The doors are a timber look and very '80s they make some areas of the house really dark, like the hallway which has 3 cupboards that use the doors and a couple of bedroom doors making it like a dark cave.
