•  my new hobby is sewing fabric bags. Made this today and purchased a bee brooch to go on later.

@Former-Member , I love the colours. I'd love that for a set of coasters!

@Liani  the bag looks great! What other things do you like sewing? Do you sew clothes?

@tyme thanks. I love the bright colours but I hate how the paints look patchy. But it's my first canvas I've ever done and my first proper painting.

@tyme nope, it's acrylic paints.

Is it messy? Do you do one colour at a time? That is, you paint all the greens, then all the purples etc @Former-Member ?

@tyme I'm not messy, well at least not when it comes to painting 😂.

I did work on one colour at a time but then it's hard to plan which colours go where so that none are touching etc. So at times I had to go back to a colour to fill a gap.

Thanks 😊 I've just gone nuts on making bags. I've never really had a thing for bags but I think its just the act of creating something that has me hooked. Mahb I'll eventually progress to clothes or something but right now I'm sewing bags every spare minute. Maybe it's just an excuse to avoid other things (like housework) but it definitely distracts the mind from other stuff
