Re: Hobbies and Projects
@tyme oh no, but you gotta admit leaving a trail of loom bands is pretty amusing 😂. Unfortunately though the creations don't last forever and I'm not sure there is a way to save them sadly.

Re: Hobbies and Projects
Yes, 'funny'. I was annoyed and thought my niece was chucking loom bands at me. Then I looked down and saw they were everywhere... looked back, and yes, there was a trail... "Sorry environment! Sorry to all the animals I hurt for not picking up those 100 loom bands in public!" @Former-Member
Common @Former-Member , surely someone in the world has come up with a solution to preserve loom bands!???

Re: Hobbies and Projects
@tyme silly loom bands.
I think if they are kept inside and out of sunlight and not touched they will last for a while. But even then I had one that was just left on display and I picked it up to dust and it fell apart 😂

Re: Hobbies and Projects
I feel that the less you touch them, the more likely they will rot @Former-Member ! And yes, sunlight damages them.
I just googled this: store in cold, dark, dry, and oxygen-free conditions.
Lol... in other words, dont' use loom bands...
I remember some more crafts @Former-Member @Oaktree @Captain24 - ribbon crafts and quilling! I can't even find an example of the ribbon craft I used to do as a teenager. Once I find it, I'll post it.

Re: Hobbies and Projects
Yes! Scoubidos! I remember the box weaving and mermaid weave.. that's it. I wasn't so into them.
Ribbon craft was something along the lines of this:
But the ones I made had no gaps. It was all weaved together. When I get home, I will take some photos and post them. @Former-Member

Re: Hobbies and Projects
@tyme i used to love doing it but now it takes me forever to make such a small thing. Like I was a whizz at it when I was a kid, what happened 😂.
Oh that's pretty, can't wait to see your creations later ❤️

Re: Hobbies and Projects
Remind me in a week's time @Former-Member . I'm still away until then. But yes, I've got a pencilcase of these little craft hearts I made when I was about 14.

Re: Hobbies and Projects
@tyme what makes you think I'm going to remember in a week's time, my memory is non existent 😂. But I will do my best to remember and we will see how that goes.
