Re: Gratitude posts

Hello @utopia@bipolar101@Shaz51@Former-Member@Matt12@moonflower and all

Grateful today that my daughter's brain scan came back negative for MS disease. Grateful my husbands heart tests were good. Grateful for his love - it's been a tough week. Grateful for my best friend. And yes, grateful for my air conditioner in this heat.

Also made an offer on a home fronting the water. Not accepted yet but grateful to live in a country where I have this and other opportunities. 😊

Re: Gratitude posts

@Former-Member. Such truly wonderful news. I'm so very pleased for you. And good luck with the offer.

Re: Gratitude posts

Thank you @utopia and @Shaz51 🌹 It has been a difficult few years and am so grateful that I may be embarking on a positive change. Won't get my hopes up too high but am grateful that there is at least the opportunity. Hope all is going well for both of you ❤

Re: Gratitude posts

Hi @MoonGal

@Former-Member & @Shaz51

I am grateful for the ability to look at wonderful art on the internet. (Never thought I'd say that!)

Think I am going to include it as part of a daily routine.

It has been calming, involves another part of the brain than is typical for me .. but also keeps my mind alive with connections and cultural links. I know that seems paradoxical ... but its true .. somehow ??

Re: Gratitude posts

I found a new app called dbt000.
I assume it's related to DBT therapy.
I've found it really helpful today to just accept my waivering mood.
I started out great, I felt a real up begin last night, to drop out somewhat this afternoon. I couldn't understand why. 😳😢
So acceptance for what I can't change.

Re: Gratitude posts

I'm grateful it's cooler inside, than outside.
I'm grateful my son is keeping cool at the local pool.
I'm grateful my son is spending time with his mates.
I'm grateful I got to see my psychologist today.
I'm grateful for the laughs we had.

Hello @utopia, @bipolar101, @Former-Member, @Appleblossom, @Former-Member, @MoonGal

Today I am grateful that mum is feeling better

I am grateful that my sister and Brother in law came to visit us today xx

Re: Gratitude posts

Saw this post awhile ago, which prompted me to think about the things I'm grateful for, thought about putting these up and didn't. I felt, it sounded silly, because there a a lot of little things, everyday things I'm grateful for. But then I thought, isn't it the culmination of lots of little things that create happiness? So, here it goes:

I'm grateful

- when I wake up after a good night's sleep without waking up during the night
- to see the washing on the line first thing in the morning
- when I can motivate myself to work in my garden
- when I can pick veggies from my garden
- this sounds crazy, when I see my salad on the chopping board
Lunch
- for the days I went away with my friend for a short holiday
- and this is a biggy, that I have my voice back ... after half a year of struggling with resonance, it's back! Both my singing coach and I were in tears of emotion today.

Indeed, a alot to be grateful for Woman Happy

Re: Gratitude posts

I can relate to food and vocal gratitude.  @Ffm48

I like to see a few vegies assembled on bench as I decide wots for dinner.

Have had a frog in my throat for a while .. maybe should cut down on dairy

.. all in the right balance Heart
