GRATITUDE

Re: GRATITUDE

Oh I am grateful for SPREADSHEETS!!!

I have my frequents like my Bible plan, owing tally, phase ten scoring with the algorithms...

@MJG017 are you weird too and like filling out forms?

Re: GRATITUDE

@avant-garde

Filling out forms!  Not only do i love it, but in my last job, I always used to volunteer for creating any forms they needed.  I loved creating them,laying them out, making them into efficient administrative art!

Re: GRATITUDE

oh that actually sounds fun!! i'm going to note that down for when i got to the games world again. @avant-garde what made you get into all these board games/card games?

Re: GRATITUDE

@MJG017

One thing that drives me nuts is inefficient forms, they just photocopy what they've always had and don't let me improve it!

I love making forms and probably one of the few people who likes the efficiency of Centrelink forms, those are done well.

@rav3n

I don't know actually, I don't like not remembering things... I just know I like them

Re: GRATITUDE

you like them and that's all that matters anyways! @avant-garde i have a few friends who joined card clubs at their uni or had game nights that sparked their love for it... i don't have an origin story that i remember either though.

Re: GRATITUDE

Happy Birthday. Hoping someone gives you a winning ticket for your birthday,so U can get that aircon. @Oaktree

Re: GRATITUDE

I'm grateful for the time to reflect and thankful things aren't worse.

Re: GRATITUDE

I think having time to reflect is great @Dimity as long as it does not turn into rumination.

I am grateful for many things and am trying to work gratitude into my day, to try and boost my MH. I am starting to recover after a few months of being quite down and although I tried gratitude strategy earlier, I could not sustain it because I was so down, but now I'm finding I can hang on to gratitude much more. Thanks for posting @Dimity as I didn't know this thread existed

Re: GRATITUDE

I agree gratitude can be hard to sustain @Till23 . But sometimes the smallest of things can bring a glimmer.

Re: GRATITUDE

Yes I agree @Dimity I also think when you practice it you get better at it and realise more things that you are grateful for.

I'm grateful I had a good day today, got to play table tennis for 2 hrs with some other oldies like me.

I'm grateful that I managed to cross a few things of my to do list today, like mowing the lawn

I'm grateful I can have that the temperature has fallen and I can have a warm snuggle in my bed tonight, and a little sleep in tomorrow.
