Hi everyone,
@MoonGal, congrats on making it to the pool and doing some aquatic exercise for the second time this week! Are you liking the sensations of being in the pool again?
My exercise today has been functional only: walking to and from bus stops and four hours of standing, short walking and squatting in my new volunteer job at an op shop. Yesterday though I walked on the beach for about 2km-2.5km all up.
Wishing everyone lots of inspiration for movement.

Great that you are keeping up exercise goals. @Former-Member and @MoonGal
Yay the pool
.. yay yoga ..
@Former-Member with the meds it can be hard to be totally clear about what effects what re food and feelings. Keep hydrated too ... and take care.
I raised a "lady-like" sweat yesterday and today. At least I hope it was lady-like! I walked an hour yesterday in morning and evening to and from train. In a crowded tram a young fit-looking lady mentioned to me that she was sweating and I let her have access to the open window. Hoorah we have finally broken through the its not lady like to sweat myth. I have taken to carrying hankies to wipe sweat away. One great lady confided to me recently that she did not sweat ... I did not believe her ... but didnt confront her on her porky ... I thought she hadnt sufficiently extended herself physically.
Today the sweat was caused by gardening.

3 laps , thats wonderful @MoonGal,slowly concentrating on form rather than speed is the way to go , I had a swimming couch who trained me -- I got up to doing 69 laps without stopping in a morning session , that was a while ago now

@Polly48 - Welcome to the forums, so glad you have joined this Excercise and Goal setting conversation. I have found such great encouragement and an occasional shoulder to cry on as I go through the highs and lows of exercising and keeping motivated.
Wow! You have a great set of goals. I saw a public demonstration of Zumba once and it ws so energetic I almost couldn't walk after just watching it.
I do a set of exercises in the pool that were taught to me by a physiotherapist, and a few gentle laps and have only JUST got back in the water last week after a year of 'meaning to go'. I missed my pool time yesterday - I did a lot of functional exercise with house and yard work so made up for it though. Welcome!
