Saw the diabetes specialist and he said i was a little Anemia

He has put my insulin up and wants me to do more exercise which is hard

He wants a couple of things checked out like the liver and heart ❤️

Re: Diabetes and mental health

Diabetes can slow you down a lot. I did not get much help from my diabetes educator other than her coaching me to achieve the impossible. At one stage she wanted me walking twice a day - morning and night. It was literally killing me @Shaz51 so i know how you feel about this. Get your iron levels up and you may have more oxygen in your body. I had to go elsewhere to get help which my diabetes educator could not offer.

It can be hard feeling stuck in diabetes-land but thats what I did tried other things to boost my vitality. I did not get far with standard advice. The solutions to my problems just showed up. I spoke to an athletics coach who ran a healthfoodstore and he gave me some great advice that he used with people he trained with. The solutions are out there, just hold the question in your minds eye and it will come to you soon enough. i have achieved the impossible

Re: Diabetes and mental health

Wishing you all the best @Shaz51

Re: Diabetes and mental health

How is your day going so far

Re: Diabetes and mental health

Its going well, am enjoying the warm sunshine today @Shaz51 may go outside again to take in the rays more fully. Spring is almost here.

Re: Diabetes and mental health

We have sunshine 🌞 today too @SmilingGecko

And no power for 6 hours so it should give me the motivation to get out side in the sun while it is here

Re: Diabetes and mental health

Afternoon our @Shaz51

Hope this finds you well, have been reading through a lot of the threads and was really surprised with how prevalent diabetes is.  You always sound so upbeat the whole time - a very much 'get on with it' attitude which seems to be a dying attritube.   I read your threads with interest....................Asgard
